Saddened by the passing of Elie Wiesel. I am grateful for Eckerd College and Carolyn Johnston that I had the opportunity to take a course with him in 2000. He inspired and encouraged me to study in la Provence, which paved the way for my current career as a French teacher. The world will miss him greatly!
