Confidential and private resources and supportive measures
All individuals who experience protected class discrimination or harassment, including sexual or gender-based harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence or stalking and who are involved in a resolution process, or who are in the process of deciding what steps they would like to take are encouraged to seek support and guidance from any of the many confidential or private resources available on- and off-campus.
Confidential resources are those professionals who are licensed to provide consultation, guidance and support without with an obligation to report your disclosure or information to the College’s Title IX Coordinator.
Private resources are staff on-campus who, although skilled in providing consultation, guidance and support are obligated to share your disclosure and information with the Title IX Coordinator. They will maintain your privacy insofar as they are able, but are required to inform the Title IX Coordinator of any reports they receive related to any type of discrimination and harassment including sexual harassment.
