Biography

Larry Alan Busk is interested in thinking through the political implications of the ongoing climate crisis. This concern is reflected in both teaching and research, where he frequently complements philosophical studies with empirical and interdisciplinary resources. His background is in critical and democratic theory, and he has published on a wide variety of figures—including Hannah Arendt, Theodor Adorno, Charles Mills, Carl Schmitt, Simone de Beauvoir and Amílcar Cabral. His teaching interests are in political philosophy, ethics, environmental philosophy, and logic. He completed a Ph.D. at the University of Oregon in 2018.
