Admission Counselor

My name is Sofie Alexander, and I am excited to be your Admission Counselor and to help you through your application process! I recently graduated from Eckerd College, and I’m excited to work at Eckerd so soon after graduating. I am originally from New Jersey and understand why most students travel over 1,000 miles to study at our beautiful school. Eckerd has provided me with countless opportunities that have changed my life for the better. That is one of the many reasons I love Eckerd.

Without Eckerd, I would have never been able to obtain a degree in Chemistry and Political Science within four years. I would have never learned the importance of a liberal arts education and what amazing opportunities result from an Eckerd education. Aside from my degree at Eckerd, I was also an Eastman Leader, a leadership opportunity at Eckerd that helps you grow as a leader and create a project that gives back to the Eckerd community.

I am excited to be an Admission Counselor and help bring students from far and wide to Eckerd’s beautiful campus. I believe that Eckerd is a school where you are free to express yourself and find out who you are. I am very fortunate to be working at my alma mater. I am excited to be here to help you through the admission process and answer any questions you may have for me.
