Campus visit travel grant

Your ticket to paradise

We offer travel grants—$1,000 per year—to make it financially easier to visit campus.

The best way to get to know us is by visiting us in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. In order to assist with rising travel costs, our campus visit travel grant provides an additional $1,000 per year, for up to a total of $4,000, on top of any other awards offered by Eckerd College.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Live outside a 200-mile radius of Eckerd College.
  • Apply for admission for Autumn/Fall 2026 by November 15, 2025.
  • Participate in an in-person, on-campus visit experience hosted by our Admission Office between June 1 and February 1, 2026. 
  • Submit your FAFSA by February 1, 2026. (The 2026-27 FAFSA opens October 1, 2025.)
  • Enroll full-time at Eckerd College for the first time in either Autumn or Fall 2026 Term.

Students who attend Eckerd College through a scholarship or grant program that meets or exceeds tuition are ineligible for the campus visit travel grant. Such programs may include but are not limited to the tuition remission benefits, tuition exchange and veteran administration benefits/military programs. 

Students who are awarded athletic scholarships are not eligible for the campus visit travel grant.

All campus visit travel grants are guaranteed for four years or completion of a bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.

Campus visit travel grants are not duplicated if a student has visited multiple times.
