• Books are on loan for 28 days from the shipping date.

• No more than 5 books may be on loan to any one library from FEC.

• If a library is borrowing a book that is more than 10 days overdue, borrowing privileges are suspended until the book is returned. Invoices will be sent for books that are more than 30 days overdue. Nonpayment will result in suspension of borrowing privileges until payment is received. 

• We do not charge libraries that belong to TBLC, FLIN, SOLINE (SO6), OBEGROUP, or LVIS. All other libraries are subject to be charged the same amount they would charge us for both books and photocopies.

• We do not lend theses, periodicals, newspaper, or audio-visual materials.

• We will photocopy individual articles from microfilm.

• FEC accepts ILL requests via OCLC and ALA forms. Please do not fax or Ariel your request.

• A book may be recalled from the borrowing library if a student at FEC has indicated a need for the book. The recall date supersedes any previous due date, and privileges may be suspended if the book is not returned in a timely fashion.
