Choose from 300+ destinations to study abroad

Imagine studying the ocean from a 134-foot two-masted ship. Or exploring the wonders of the Galapagos Islands. Or browsing the colorful stalls of London’s Covent Garden Market after class.

At our London Study Centre, you can study the history and culture of Britain and see world-class art and theatre while living in a 200-year-old Georgian row house.
Students who study abroad earn on average $4,159 more in their first job after graduation than those who do not. -The Forum on Education Abroad
Over 400 Eckerd students will be studying abroad in 18 countries in January 2027!

Short- or long-term travel

Most Eckerd students study abroad alongside Eckerd faculty during a three-week Winter Term program in January, a Spring-Into-Summer program in May, a summer program or an August Abroad program. We also arrange for semester- and year-long exchanges at dozens of universities across the globe, from France to Fiji.
