Campus visit travel grant

Your ticket to paradise

We offer travel grants—$1,000 per year—to make it financially easier to visit campus.

The best way to get to know us is by visiting our beautiful waterfront campus in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. To assist with rising travel costs, our Campus Visit Travel Grant provides an additional $1,000 per year, for up to a total of $4,000, on top of other awards offered by Eckerd College.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Live outside of a 200-mile radius of Eckerd College
  • Apply for admission for Autumn Term/Fall Semester 2026 by November 15, 2025
  • Participate in an in-person, on-campus visit experience hosted by our Admission Office between June 1, 2025, and February 1, 2026 
  • Submit your FAFSA by February 1, 2026
  • Enroll full-time at Eckerd College for the first time in either Autumn Term or Fall Semester 2026

Students who attend Eckerd College through a scholarship or grant program that meets or exceeds tuition are not eligible for the Campus Visit Travel Grant. Such programs may include but are not limited to the tuition remission benefits, tuition exchange and veteran administration benefits/military programs. 

Students receiving athletic scholarships are not eligible for the Campus Visit Travel Grant.

All Campus Visit Travel Grants are guaranteed for four years or completion of a bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.

These grants are not duplicated if a student has visited multiple times.
